Family with kids will love it here
Our room had 2 queens and 2 upper bunks which was perfect for the kids. The free continental breakfast was a great surprise and honestly, we all enjoyed a leisurely walk on the trail behind the hotel together.
It wasn’t exactly bargain basement prices but for what we got, it was satisfactory.

Great place to relax with amazing mountain views. The bike rentals are a fun way to explore the area. Parking was very limited, making it hard to find a spot.

The Quadruple Room was super comfy with really nice bedding. Plus, it had a unique boutique vibe that made it feel special. Loved the clean space, and it was spacious enough for our family. The kids' play areas were a nice touch, too. No complaints about the room itself!

I recently stayed at The Eddy Taproom & Hotel for two nights with my partner. The room smelled so nice like lavender, and the bedding felt luxurious. The hotel is modern and situated right at the foothills of Golden, making it a perfect spot for relaxation and enjoying the outdoors. We loved the lovely path alongside the creek that leads to downtown. Local shops and restaurants were just a short walk away. We enjoyed the rooftop patio with a cozy gas firepit, perfect for evening relaxation. However, we faced a big disappointment when we arrived to find our King room had been given to someone else due to overbooking. The manager was nice and apologetic but downgrading our room really affected our sleep quality. I suggest reserving directly with the hotel to avoid this issue. Overall, it was a good stay, and the environment was appealing, but that mix-up put a damper on things.

The exposed beams and warm wood accents in the lobby made me feel right at home, as if I was visiting a friend’s cozy mountain retreat. The outdoor seating areas were delightful, perfect for enjoying the cool breeze.
More accessible seating for seniors would be ideal.

I stayed for a short getaway and really enjoyed the warm and inviting atmosphere, especially the outdoor seating areas with cozy fire pits. The free beer tasting at check-in was a delightful touch! My only wish was for a bit more variety in the breakfast options. after a couple of days, it felt repetitive. Overall, it was a relaxing experience in a lovely setting that made it easy to unwind after exploring nearby attractions.

The breakfast had some nice options but could use
more variety, especially in the hot selections. The deluxe single room was comfortable and well-appointed. It was a pleasant stay overall, though I wished for a bit more space in the communal areas during breakfast hours.

pleasant stay with a few misses
The large shared balconies offered a lovely spot to enjoy coffee every morning. Fire pits create a vibrant atmosphere in the evenings, perfect for relaxing with a beer. The breakfast options were satisfying, particularly the omelettes which I found fresh and flavorful.
While the breakfast was generally good, I felt there could be more variety in hot options.

The Eddy Taproom & Hotel is a gem! I adored the warm lobby and the free beer tasting at check-in—perfect for unwinding. The vibe of the outdoor seating and cozy gas fire pits added to the charm, making it a great spot for relaxation. Not to mention, there are awesome local eats like Pangea Coffee Roasters and Colorado Plus Cidery nearby. Just scrumptious!
Now, I gotta keep it real, I was a tad bummed by the $25/night amenities fee that hit me at check-in—would’ve liked that upfront. Plus, the highway nearby brought a bit of noise that interrupted my zen.
